Sorry to say this OP, but you are wrong.

AI do not think, and the robot did not actually solve the Rubik's cube. It was solved by the human programmer who invented the algorithm for solving any and every Rubik's cube variation and then wrote it as code. All of the "work" for solving it was done long before the robot even existed.
