Joseph wasn't a bad father. He held family values and was the reason the Jackson family was able to get out of the hood. There is no way they would have got out of the hood without the work of Joseph. The fact remains that they should have never demonized him in the media. This demonstrates another reason that pulling up your boots by your bootstraps will yet again be demonized by the media.
