Zelensky removed Fedorov, who served as the Minster of Defense for about 6 months and made sweeping reforms to the military, i.e. drone warfare. He was very popular, since his focus on asymmetric warfare would give Ukraine an edge and would utilize it's native surplus of competent engineers that could build a modern warfare infrastructure that would take the load off of the boots-on-the-ground units, since manpower is limited.
