OpenAI and Anthropic plan to go public this year. Since artificial inteligence still generates substantial losses, the only plausible reason for this decision is the beleif that AI will experience enought exponential growth to become self-sustaining. Without that expectation, going public would be a fatal risk, as a publicly traded company with no profit prospects could fail. Therefore, they must be betting on an AI advancement of at least ten times over the next 12 months.

>a publicly traded company with no profit
That's the norm now. FB, Tesla, many companies made nothing for years.

going public is the profit. blackrock and State Street will pump their bags while they dilute.
>>
pretty much every company going public isn’t profitable. they do it to delay profitability by raising more cash. you don’t understand how anything works and sound retarded

Wew haven't we learned from every other IPO that tanks immediately after going public?

They're just trying to get some retail investors on the hook so they can cry for a bailout

Let me tell you something, the only reason USA has not collapsed is because of us, hardworking Balkans. My great grandpa literally made the White House brick by brick and they still owed him money.

No. The plausible reason is that they're having a harder time raising money, so they're going to go public which will give them two things
>More money
>Exit liquidity
That's the reason.

What kind of payday? They still have yet to bring any profit, not to mention pay off all the spendings they did beforehand
