If you've ever read research papers on the most commonly used chemotherapy drugs, they usually only improve survivability by a few weeks. These studies are also rigged by pharma companies to sell their drugs.

There are some exceptions. I cannot give someone else medical advice in good conscience. However if I develop cancer I would rather just make peace with the limited time I have on earth rather than spending the last 3-24months of my life having my system flushed with cisplatin and paclitaxel.
