George W. Bush conquered Baghdad in 22 days. Why is it taking Trump so long to conquer Tehran? Especially since Iran and Iraq have roughly the same military strength - something we know from the Iran-Iraq war, which ended in stalemate.
>>540107055because its a fake war
>>540107055You need boots on the Ground but israel wont use there men to fight there war and the goyim dont wanna die for Israel. Also checkout this series on the scale of the Desert stormhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSqKx3FG0Lw&list=PLErys4h2oiuyKCuzZhpHhCeRwSoQVEazb&index=3
>>540107055Iran-Iraq war is ancient history. Technology have equalized significantly since then. What used to be exclusive to the US in terms of battlefield information and real time comms is now available to Iran. Iranian missiles far outclass the SCUDs Iraq had. Drones extended Iran's reach well beyond anything Iraq could imagine. All of this means the defender now have significant advantages. We don't have months of time to be able to amass troops at nearby bases like we had with Iraq. The moment Iran sees troops amassing, that base is gonna get wiped off the map.

>>540107214This anon is right and has good point as well, it wont be nearly as easy as Iraq
>>540107214saddams army was the strongest in mdidle east beside iran but it was still a army based on 1940s conventions
>>540107055No /pig/ after Iran and US talks are supposed to be back on. Iran cucked lol they got afraid of US attacks

>>540107055because we can't use the next-gen energy weapons without spooking the entire planet
HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahshahshFunny to see all the soldiers get dickless when the enemy has peer tech. Chinese EW bringing down western avionics and motorcycle drones blowing everything up while pilots getting down by jellyfish like formations. The "oorahs" cannot even be heard. I have lost all respect for the armed forces, it was only ever amazing when they were mowing down civilians.
United States used to have a monopoly on technology, but those days are over, today it may still dominate within North America and parts of South America, largely thanks to forced treaties like the infamous Bucareli Treaty, but that influence doesn't extend beyond the region in the tripolar world of 2026. The US is no longer a global superpower, if anything it has become a continental one. And any continental power that wages war outside its own hemisphere is set up to fail.
Saddam was a patsy who took directions from the west through the Rockefeller's, went the EU suddenly wanted him to go he went from our guy to literally Hitler, Bush sr and sanctions did all the heavy lifting.Originally Khomeini was Washington's man on the inside releasing the hostages just as long as Reagan needed to making Carter look like a bitch but Khamenei came out of left field.
>>540107537that certainly explains why deep political relations between iran and the usa deteriorated after khomeini died
>>540107055We're not trying to conquer Iran, dumocrat tranny.
>>540108882According to Trump's Secretary of State Marco Rubio, one of the goals of the war is to de-nuclearize Iran. This requires ground forces and unilateral control of Iranian nuclear facilities (including those under Tehran) by US forces. Explain how you intend to enact that goal without a ground component which is thorough enough to conquer the Iranian state for long enough to search and seize any nuclear materials. Be as specific as you can.
>>540107328Nigger, what? America gave chemical weapons to Iraq to use against Iran, Iran didn't even respond in kind.
