Why did Gen-X throw this away?

It sucked. Our existence being bleak doesn't change the fact that their existence was bleak too. Think about it like this - their world consequentially led to ours.
>>
Throw away? Gen-X weren't even in power then.
They were just slaves to protoboomers and boomers then.
That chick is probably walking to Trump tower as an escort or something.

>80s and 90s
It was a good time but it was def lacking in 'aura'
You should prob kys for the stupid zoomerspeak.
>trueshot, concentration, fanaticism, salvation
Those are auras
>>
>>540114660
why do we never hear from or about gen x? seemed like it went from retarded entitled boomers to insanely high maintenance millenials.
>>
>>540115136
GenX is a shorter time period and half of them died of heroin overdose in the 90's
>>

Gen X here, from the start I grew up on a farm that I had to work without pay (back before Mexicans did the work and kids had to work) family ends up selling the farm after I turn 18 so I had to go wage slave for 25plus years. I didn't get a say in anything or any of this.
>>
>>540115191
Yep and if they didn't OD and die in the 90s they wound up offing themselves in 2012
>>
>>540114660
I dunno, I'm gen X and I was 17 at the time and in my senior year at high school. We didn't throw away anything. Our parents set most of us up and the world was already sold to jews, it just didn't click until 9/11, which caused Dubya to sign the patriot act, which was the opening salvo in the ongoing war we are still internally fighting whether we want to or not.

Only some Gen Xers are FINALLY starting to inherit positions of power and authority today. And even then only some. Same with millennials.
70 to 80 year olds still own and run most things. Congress is pretty much still all boomers at this point.

Anyone else notice the SS hippie, a breed I literally didn't realise existsed, at 47 seconds?
>>
>>540114660
Oh look, a D&C thread. We haven't had one of these in at least ten seconds. How refreshingly unique.
>>
>>540114660
Looks like shit desu. Better than now but still a mess. I grew up watching 80s movies so 80s NY looks more comfy to me, Ghostbusters, Desperately Seeking Susan, etc. but then people say 80s NY was hellishly rough.
I think we can all agree the 60s was when things started to fall apart, no?
>>
>>540115136
>insanely high maintenance millenials.
Tiresome post.
>>
>>540114660
They didn't have much choice. Boomer generational preference kept them from ever having much institutional power. Didn't help they were brainwashed against unions either.

>>540115624
Every generation after boomers is so similar it'll never gain traction. They just keep trying different permutations and hoping one will stick.

I laughed when "Fashwave" chuds started churning out nostalgia videos for 1990s Jew York. But ultimately, that's what Trumpism is all about.

We are a tiny generation. The world you inhabit is the world of the boomers. They are the largest and richest generation and the world is still (for a short while) arranged for their convenience.

I say for a short while, this is because at this exact moment in history approximately 50% of the boomers are dead. The world is changing as you will notice, and that change is accelerating. This is happening in large part because the decline of the power of the boomers is accelerating as the die-off rate increases.

All the GenX I know, the same generation responsible for building the internet platforms and most of the tech you use daily, are all preparing to secure themselves. Leaving the cities for the countryside, buying land, building a secluded hideaway, metaphorically burying their wealth and treasure, disconnecting from the structures and hooks that the government puts into them. They know the big change is coming.

I should add that I've married a women from another continent which secures my entry to that continent where I can buy many acres of rural land, a large house, have my own water, solar, and even food from the garden. She'd agreed to look after some chickens too. I'm going to watch the west burn down to the ground in 4K UHD from a Starlink subscription from the comfort and safety of my own compound.

My parents divorced at just the right time for me to get 3 jobs (roofing, burger flipping, and landscaping on weekends) to keep my mom and 4 younger siblings from getting kicked out of our doublewide.

GenX here. It's amusing how zoomers idolize the 90s. Pro tip: it wasn't that great.

Because the boomers skipped us in the chain of succession. They skipped right over us and started handing out positions to the young women who would go on business trips and do the things their frigid wives would never do. The absolute last thing any boomer was ever going to do was hand off power to young men who were smarter and more capable than they were. They hated us. They don't even think about you.
>>
>>540115136
Gen X is divided between late boomers and early millennials.
Ones are nearly indistinguishable from boomers the others are like millennials but obsessed with the 80s instead of the 90s
>>
>>540120031
No. GenX are a distinct social order like all of the others. Young people mistake us for boomers because we were accidentally born at the right time to have some assets. Old people don't think about us at all. I don't think we get much attention because, despite having a fair amount of wealth, we're not materialistic scumfucs like boomers and millennials.
>>
>>540120102
You know the people I talk about, the ones who are spiritually boomers, the ones who have the same takes, the same "got mine, fuck you" attitude, the same blind faith on TV and famous people, the same "I know what I got" real state hoarding...
>>
>>540120303
Ok. You're just pissed at people who have things you don't. Yeah, man. If the appraiser says that something is worth X, they're under no obligation to sell it to you at X - 60% because you have a need for that thing.
>>
>>540120440
Purposefully misrepresentating what I've just said shows that you feel alluded.
You can not find the words you've said in my post at all
