I didn't go to college until I was 25, doing the community college/transfer to university thing. Before that, between 18 and 27, I was working in a factory in a lab technician role that was related to my chemistry major. Left my job at 27 to focus on studies full time, but because I had prior work experience, I treated my schoolwork as if it was my job and thus received the highest marks in every course. Graduated with a 3.8 GPA, cum laude, with chemistry honors. Did summer internships in Germany during undergrad and did lab internships at the home college during the school year. Minored in statistics and African american studies (I'm white - those three classes were the easiest minor at my school - but I think it also aided in grad school admission below).

Ended up with strong letters of rec and earned admission to every PhD school I applied to (Stanford, MIT, Caltech, Chicago, Harvard, etc) - I think they thought I was black. Got a PhD from one of those. 9 first authors, invited white paper from a major international UN org, international invited talks. Wrote a NSF basic science award that ended up paying for my post doc for three years.

My first job out of Postdoc resulted from a one-hour phone interview. One application, one interview, one hour. The salary was $150K a year (a lot back in the late 00s).

Point being, I hit the glass ceiling at age 25 and saw nowhere else to go in my role that would satisfy my ambitions. So even someone as retarded as a no-college lab technician like me can revise their life and improve their situation if they approach it programmatically and exercise discipline.

You lie. Learn enough about the skills in question to bullshit your way through an interview, get some friends to act as fake references, exploit connections if you can, and learn how to game the application process. You are needlessly disadvantaging yourself by trying to be honest and do things "the right way", so long as you can actually do the job in question (which is probably the case since, as anyone who has gotten an entry level job in most "high skilled" fields can tell you, you learn 95% of what you need to do the work on the job)

Stupid, overpaid, goodest goyim roast beefs granted an overly high social status, all of that will eventually be knocked down a peg as it is ultimately self destructive.
I despise the damage it is causing onto humanity and the Western world while it runs it course though. Such a vile Jewish creation.

"Entry level" has always meant the lowest level for that particular job at that particular company, not absolutely zero experience.

You were supposed to get an internship in college. And if you either couldn't get one or didn't know you were supposed to, there are always shitty temp jobs to get something on your resume that actually require zero experience.

My first job was some overnight temp job from 8pm - 4am where I was the only person in the entire office lol, but then I was able to slowly get better positions from there.

The only white collar jobs with any sort of white preference and merit based hiring or advancement are all in finance and sales. It’s investment banking, venture capital, especially hedge funds, prop trading firms, and selling pretty much anything. Problem is, you can’t get in to these finance jobs if you didn’t go to a target and are older than 25 and a lot of the sales jobs are eaten by hot women who get money thrown at them by simps. Everything below this upper echelon of very highly earning jobs where emphasis on results and locker room culture are necessary has gone absolutely mad with feminist HR policy and DEI based hiring and promotions. It doesn’t matter if you’re talking about law and engineering or run-of-the-mill symbol analyst wagie jobs at governments and big corporations, they will prefer to hire and promote blacks and women. So basically you’re cooked if you didn’t go to Vandy and get into Wall Street.

Yeah, getting your foot in the door today is probably more difficult. My story is actually even more boomer-coded than I originally related:

I was referred to the factory job as an 18 year-old by my then-girlfriend's father who was the industrial hygienist at the factory. Applied to be a process operator (broad call, they were always hiring them) and took a standardized test. Because I'd taken AP chemistry, I scored well on the chemistry section and the quality control labs took a chance on me as their chemistry stockroom boy and lab waste handler. I was pretty efficient and a fast learner, so I graduated to operating the test apparatuses and instrumentation (HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc) pretty quickly, working alongside people with four-year degrees.

So it still boiled down to knowing someone, but the rest was applying for a role at the bottom, and working my way up. I never had a silver spoon even though I eventually did my PhD with the children of the elites.

Applications take minimal time and energy. If you're passed up based entirely on your resume/application that's, to me, not even considered a loss.
If you get an interview the way you get the job is being charismatic and likeable. Its less about what you know but how you approach the situation. The impression you make matters a lot. If you're someone that likes others and is liked by others, you appear even the slightest bit intelligent, and sell yourself well you'll get the job.
This is the single most important trait that lands me a job and I suggest everyone do it. Just BE LIKEABLE and not awkward or antisocial. That's literally it.

If you already have a professional track record, you don't really need to do much. An experienced worker won't have any trouble finding a new job since companies highly value experience, especially in specialized areas. But if you have no experience and are looking for your first job (which I guess is what your are talking about), you only have one option left: learn to lie, and to do it well.

My first serious work experience was on a cruise ship as administrative staff. The pay was $2,500 a month, which by Argentine standards is a lot, especially considering it was my first job. I graduated from university with a degree in institutional communication, a degree that, as you can imagine from the name, isn't exactly in high demand, although it's not on par with an arts degree or anything like that either. In any case, the position I applied for required experience, preferably in administration or human resources. I had none of that, but I really wanted the job, so I decided to use my friends and family to create a competitive CV with references. That's how I said I'd worked in hotels, shops, and even a small business in my hometown, and the best part is, it was a perfect lie. The companies where I claimed to have worked actually existed, and the contacts at those companies were also correct. The only thing the HR person who reviewed my CV didn't know was that all those people were friends, close acquaintances, or distant relatives. They all spoke highly of me, and that's how I landed a virtual interview, which also went very well, since I had previously rehearsed talking about my past "work experiences" without contradicting myself. I'm sure that 90% of the people here could do something similar; you just need to find friends or relatives who own some kind of business and are willing to claim that you've worked with them. Obviously, there are no guarantees of success, but if you did things right, at least you'll be sure to get an interview.
