Hope I don't get banned for spamming, but here is my ideaWhy don't we do this? With enough eyes on Iran, we could spot where they're launching from or take the time to follow a suspected launcher back to its arsenal/hideout. It doesn't even have to be real-time, just split a satellite feed up into square mile quadrants and let the volunteers monitor a randomly assigned quadrant on their own phone or computer. With an app, you could get an alert about launches (drones/missiles/fast boats) from a cluster of quadrants (maybe one you aren't even assigned to monitor, like when you get an alert about an aircraft in FlightRadar24) and quickly zoom into it and go frame by frame with a slider. There could be a chat function and groups/teams people could join to help organize and discuss what you've seen and share clips so people know what to look for. I don't think you'd need a clearance to volunteer to watch an enemy country, if you're only going to hit a "Report" button and escalate to an enlisted airman with clearance to review. You could have a three strike policy for mistakes and then instead of direct reporting, you get shadow banned and a moderator/volunteer admin of the app reviews your reports before escalating. That way no one gets too butthurt or discouraged. There could even be a rewards system with badges or markings for the accumulation of successful reports. So many of us enjoy exploring Google Earth/Maps or are into GIS without even realizing it, and would spend hours and hours scouring satellite imagery/video of Iran looking for our enemies. Hundreds of thousands of free man-hours of intelligence are going to waste that might be extremely useful in undermining Iran's shoot and scoot capabilities.
