An Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics card now costs more than $6000 canadian dollars.

At release back in January 2025 the retail price was $2000 USD ($2700 canadian) plus tax.

This is coming sooner than anyone realizes. GeForce NOW already allows you to stream like you were running a 5080 on a potato. Looks to me like 6000-series could easily be the last generation of consumer GPUs. There’s an outside chance the 5000-series was the last. If that’s true, the 5090/6090 will become extremely valuable. The unfortunate thing is that the goyim really don’t care at all. If you “own” a 5080 and high end rig by streaming for 15 or 20 bucks a month, they’re on board.

no its not. only third worlders will sign up to play 120ms input lag slop. all it's gonna do is introduce gaming casteism like the consoles did which didn't really work out in the long term because no one wants to feel like a handicapped goycattle who fell for some corporate scam
>>
>>540169490

Goyim literally do not care. Do you think they even know what input delay is? All that will register for them is “wow I can have high end graphics streamed to my shitty ass rig or smart tv.”

And that's just the network lag. Most AAA slop has a 50-80ms input delay before the screen reacts.
On a guitar anything above 15ms is noticeable and 40+ms is unplayable.

Best picks around $300

RTX 4060 Ti 16GB — the standout pick. Used listings on eBay are running around $270, well under budget, and new cards from Amazon/Newegg sit closer to $420+. You get the full 16GB, solid 1440p performance, and it's the best of this bunch for anything AI/local-LLM related thanks to CUDA support.

Intel Arc B580 (12GB) — currently Newegg has discounted two Arc B580 cards to $289.99 with promo codes, making it the cheapest 12GB card sold new by a major US retailer. Used ones on eBay average right around $300 too. It's genuinely good value — it hits solid inference speeds on 7B-parameter local AI models at a fraction of the RTX price — but Intel's drivers are still less mature than Nvidia's/AMD's, especially for older DX11 games, and it works best on Linux for AI workloads.
Compute Market

RTX 3060 12GB — the safe, boring choice. Used eBay prices are around $260, and it's been out long enough that driver support and used-market supply are both excellent. It's the oldest architecture of the bunch though, so raw performance trails the others.

RX 6700 XT 12GB — used prices are all over the place (roughly $255–$360 depending on the listing/cooler), but the better deals land right in your range. Performance-wise it's a strong 1440p card, arguably punching above the 3060 and B580 in pure rasterization.

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft-centered, crisp-edged cookies with deep caramel notes from brown sugar

Ingredients:
2.3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoons fine sea salt
1 cups unsalted butter, softened
0.8 cups granulated sugar
0.8 cups packed brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

For chewier cookies, use an extra egg yolk instead of a second whole egg. For crispier cookies, flatten the dough balls slightly before baking and skip the chilling step. Browning the butter first (then letting it cool to solid-ish before creaming) adds a nutty depth if you have extra time.

This makes about 2 dozen cookies — crisp edges, soft centers, deep flavor from the mix of brown and white sugar. Chilling the dough for 30 min isn't required but it does make a noticeably better cookie if you have the time.

Conservatives are better for the economy.

OP is a disinfo shill. The cost of graphics cards have never been cheaper. In fact if commie Kamala was president you can bet they'd be even more expensive. Once A.I. takes off the economy is going to be doing so well, better than it already is, that you will easily be able to afford any graphics card you want. This is a temporary market disruption while the data centers are getting set up. Once construction is done prices will go back down to even lower levels.

That's not even adequate to run k3
Even at the lowest possible quantization, like to the point that you might as well not even bother K3 comes in at like 500 gigabytes just for the model weights. You'd need like 3 terabytes of memory to run it at full context in 4bit.
>>
why would you even need it when 5070ti/9070xt exists

all the best games can run on a raspberrypi, unless you're trying to run some local llm or ai stuff then you can just afford it anyhow, but consoomers are getting moved out, git gud scrubs

Storage is the bigger problem. It is now prohibitively expensive to archive locally which means the jews effectively control history.

What’s considered decent redundant storage space? 100TB with ZFS zraid3 with plenty of backup disks?

seems like a decent home setup, but keep in mind:
>Approximately 402.89 million terabytes of data are generated every day globally. This figure is expected to grow significantly in the coming years.

tis but a drop in an ocean

I like keeping git repos, containers, images, vms, operating system backups, personal documents, pictures and videos locally. It has to factor bitrot which the FreeBSD version of TrueNas achieves. ZFS supports multiple ways to cache standard platter disks setups using older generation NvMEs for nice read / write performance. We’re talking line speed on 10GbE (1000MB/s) reads and writes for my datasets. With a 120GB system memory with a decent NvME handling your L2ARC/SLOG on a TrueNas node it keeps it 100% cache so old school HHDs scream. Point being it’s fast and cheap fir my labs. I don’t need to backup the internet.

Have you considered not buying it? It's not like you need it. A 5080 is like 1/6 the price. And you don't even need that card. Just wait for the bubble to pop.

Idk my idea of archiving was to give away Samsung 512GB microSD cards with Kiwix wikipedia and Project Gutenberg on them back when they only cost $30.

Man I am just gonna get a kayak. To hell with this shit. Fuck these woke ass games.

The only thing I even play anymore is Guild Wars 1, just finishing title tracks I never got back in the day. Every new thing digital fucking sucks. Movies and TV shows aren’t even good.

buy a 3060ti like normal people, i don't know wtf you need a 5090 for, it sure as fuck isn't gaming. If you have this kind of money to blow on hardware you can just rent it from a data center for pennies on the dollar.
Unless you're locally genning cunny, then carry on i guess

Peak goyim things. I bought a 1080ti when it first came out for about £650-700 if i recall, it still works fine and modern gayming is retarded anyways so who cares about playing it. You are a peak goy if you pay for new GPUs.
