Part of it is genetic but it can be triggered or exacerbated by poor diet - mainly excess sugar (and seed oils but that's a bit more controversial) causing insulin resistance causing the brain to not get enough energy.I'm trying to get my mother to eat healthier and avoid sugar and seed oils because I'm an only child and I can NOT deal with that shit in the future. If it was difficult for 6 siblings it'll be impossible for one person
