Why do journalists describe people as "Nazis" or "neo-Nazis"?

The term "Nazi" originated as a slur for national socialists, just like how "commie" is a slur for communists. News organisations often call people Nazis or refer to the Third Reich as "Nazi Germany", but when you think about it, it sounds unprofessional and wrong. It would be like calling the USSR "Commie Russia" or calling people "commies" for having communist beliefs.

People should demand that journalists stop this incorrect use of words.

Same reason leftists call everything "fascist", it's because they're stupid and are trying to make something they don't like as big of an evil as possible.

Neither the left or right is anti nazi.

Because National Socialism "can" be jew oblivious. Being le racist is not an actual prerequisite for NatSoc even though its presented as part and parcel. "But" doing the thing thats right be "your people" is always antisemetic.
If Nazis hadn't been antisemetic to start with, just by dealing with corrupt organisations, the banking sector, media etc, "jews most negatively affected" would have been the outcome.

I'm specifically talking about journalists though. It's acceptable to describe someone as a fascist if they believe in fascism. But it shouldn't be acceptable to call someone a "nazi" in a news article because it's a slur and it doesn't accurately describe the person's beliefs. If someone believes in national socialism, then call them a national socialist.

Funny thing is, I am a national socialist of sorts. So in my case, them calling me a "Nazi" is mostly accurate.

I think it's just a way to describe someone who wants totalitarian control... but it's way over used.

Are you old enough to Remember the soup nazi from sienfeld?

If everyone is a Nazi then you get free reign to be horrible because you get to be a victim.
The left even says that conservatives pretend to be victims so they can take advantage of the free pass on being horrible, but will not admit they do it all the time.
Like gay shit, the gays are not downtrodden. They have entire month long holidays, and parades in every major city in the world. You would think they would be happy with this. Nope, they have to pretend the whole world hates gays, and they'll bring up that faggot in Wyoming from 30 years ago to pretend they're victims, so they can be horrible and get away with it.

It's just sinner for the blue church. Don't waste your time overthinking it and trying to have a semantics debate, it just means sinner.

>why
because all leftists are communist assholes so by definition anybody that disagrees is a nazi

It's a control word.

Nazi is short for nationalist. There would have been no reason to include the socialist part as everyone was some form of socialist back then.

>Why do journalists describe people as "Nazis"
Often, the word is used as a pejorative label to stick onto people who are not truly respecters of National Socialism, the worldview, but are merely political opponents of the writer, for example any politician who pushes back against "woke" policies is likely to be called a "nazi." This is done of course, to assassinate their character, since as we all know nazis were the worst people ever, with the worst ideas about the world ever
>>
>>540185779
Because its a scary buzzword. Ironic that socialists hate nazis since nazis were socialists. Lmao, lol even
