They weren't any better at all. America was just much stronger, so they seemed stronger by the transitive principal. They both hated Americans and sought complete destruction for us and our way of life. Both were nothing but jew lickspittles.

All politicians are compromised

Part of it is that both parties ran their own version of a 'farm system' (like Major League Baseball), where people where brought up, trained, and tested before being allowed to sit in the big chair. A few examples:

Richard Nixon
> US House
> US Senate
> Vice President
> President

Lyndon Johnson
> US House
> US Senate
> Senate Majority Leader
> Vice President
> President

Elected officials were of a higher caliber because they spent an entire career proving their worth, and they weren't allowed to advance until they were ready

Bush Sr. pissed off Israel with his support for the Oslo Accords and pro-Saudi leanings.

It is a historically verifiable fact that Bush Sr. was hostile to Likud and Israeli hardliners, and had a pro-Arab foreign policy like most traditional Republican oilmen.

In 2004 there was a pretty thick book about the longstanding relationship between the Bush family and the Saudi royal family

checked, because they were both insiders on the JFK assassination
GHWB later became CIA director

True. Bush Jr.'s administration was somewhat hijacked by the neoconservatives around Sr.'s old rival Rumsfeld, especially in his first term before Robert Gates was brought in, but when Poppy was coming up the Republicans were the party of Saudi-linked oil guys like himself and (ex-Democrat, shifted party identification when Texas did) John Connally.

They were actually intelligent and evil, I'd rather go with merely dumb and corrupt

He was the actual president of the United States 1981—1992

No they didn't. Bush Sr publicly came out against Israeli settlement expansion, at great political cost and Ford allowed the only meaningful investigation into the deep state we've ever had.
