I just got pulled for jury duty. Can someone explain how I could ever pass a guilty verdict? With AI I can't understand how any evidence at all could erase reasonable doubt.Thoughts on court in the age of AI?

>>540203023Typically there's a chain of custody to evidence that could be faked to show its authenticity. If that chain is broken then that's a good way for the defense to introduce reasonable doubt. This predates all of the AI tools you're thinking of.

Reasonable doubt puts emphasis on "reasonable."Sure, all the evidence could be tampered/AI generated/otherwise fake. But is there any good reason to believe why it would be so? Why would you entertain the possibility of this guy, in particular, being subject to some sort of malicious smear campaign on the part of his accusers? Is that even the argument the defense is presenting? If so, what do they have to back it up?In other words: don't be retarded. Just because something conceivably can be faked does not make it reasonable to entertain that it might be faked.
