One of the most profound and relevant anecdotes from Mein Kampf comes when Hitler discusses the start of WW1. He describes the mainstream view of many at the time that history had ended, that the current order was bound to stand forever, and his relief when the Great War broke out. I think many of us can relate to the feeling of despondency, the feeling that the way things stand now will continue ad infinitum. But history shows this will eventually break. Change will come.
