He basically just went on some boats for like months at a time interacting with Third Worlders who work at the different ports all over the world. He learned a couple languages and was able to save up lots of money because you don't pay rent when you're on the boat

Merchant marine here. Shipping internationally means going to 3rd world shitholes. Shipping domestically means you will work around alot of niggers.All us flagged ships pay us wages and requires 100% officers to be us citizens and 75% of crew us citizens.You have bootcamp if you go through some unions to get vested for hiring preference, you must be in a union unless you are a direct hire with a company. You can go that route which is getting to be more common now because dei in unions means you are basically going to an inner city school in Jacksonville Florida.I recommend going to a maritime academy and going the officer route. They have more of a boot camp their first year and then all other years are regular college without as much woke shit. Mostly white too, women want to do it and they aren't all dykes so you might get a gf.Passport bros are cringe losers. Best part is 4 months on and then 4 months off for a rotational schedule. I was eligible for unemployment because of my last ship and then went to montenegro, to bang russian sluts on vacation.Money is ok, no rent and then can move back in with parents in between ships for awhile before they start to ask what your plans are and about moving out.Seasickness ends alot of people's career on their first ship, which is hilarious to watch irl.
