A lot of the jan 6 prisoners weren't even inside the building but they got bullshit charges and sat in jail for a long time waiting for a trial. That's the problem, the left is willing to do stuff like that but the right doesn't have the guts. Even if he didn't do it a democrat would have made him suffer and until republicans do the same that's not going to change.
