However there's a reason communism collapsed in European countries, but evolved in Asian countries. Russia is somewhere in between, with elections being something like vent for people that doesn't have real meaning, but makes people feel better.In the end, in Russia people do take part in elections (even when it's circus for show) and then they do support their leadership and that government also cares about what majority of people feel (because otherwise there's no reason to create a vent in form of rigged elections) so technically it could be considered democracy, right?

With every election there's someone I know who joins local electoral commision to keep an eye on vote counting and everytime there's same story: everyone in commision is paranoid of other people making rigging shit practically impossible. Everytime I see this sense of disappointment that people in Poland really vote for these retards in power and that what votes that were personally counted in their local commisions are pretty much similiar to what is later said in media.I think it works great, unironically.
