...but everyone, including opposition, knows that regime still has support of vast majority of population - does this county as democracy in your opinion?

Sort of, the war is a big leverage, but democracy has to function with big issues obstructing logic
>>
>>540234522
democracy is not needed, but a better quetion is it the government legitimate. that allows you discuss the different types of legitimacy an authority has.
>Input legitimacy - vote for people to rule you
>Output legitimacy - your results that keep the people satisfied gives you legitimacy
in the western democracies, we vote for people and then the results of their actions are irrelevant for the rest of their time in power, until the next election. in china, they have output legitmacy where they say 'we will rule for the people' and the fact that the people haven't tried to voverthrow the government is enough evidence to say the people are happy with the actions of the government.
maybe Russia has neither of those. maybe it moves more to Output and pretends to have Input legitimacy too. i don't know what life in russia is actually like so who knows?

afaik, life for anyone not sent to the front has been "better" because they can demand more for their labour
expect more crying now that online retail has gone to shit

Putin killed the only real opposition figure in prison. There haven't been any elections in Russia for over 20 years.

>the fact that the people haven't tried to voverthrow the government is enough evidence to say the people are happy with the actions of the government.
There was that one time in 1989. However there's a reason communism collapsed in European countries, but evolved in Asian countries. Russia is somewhere in between, with elections being something like vent for people that doesn't have real meaning, but makes people feel better.

In the end, in Russia people do take part in elections (even when it's circus for show) and then they do support their leadership and that government also cares about what majority of people feel (because otherwise there's no reason to create a vent in form of rigged elections) so technically it could be considered democracy, right?

Given how the US Dems and media kikes like Applebaum ABSOLUTELY LOVED Navalny, you probably have dodged a bullet there.
Any political system infested with soviet kikes is impossible to fix without drastic measures.
>>
>>540234522
And so you understand politics in Russia, this is the first time I've seen the three people in your picture. And what elections or democracy are you talking about?
>>
>>540235867
Enough about ruskies. What a horse is like, anyone can see. Look at EU countries, Germany and France in particular, and tell me if there's any difference.
And don't forget the fucking Poland 2023.
>>
A government does not have to be democratic to keep society running. As europeans our societies were nondemocratic for millennia. 300 years of democracy in the USA and we are dead. Same in Britain and France.

>>540234522
>elections were rigged
>Putin won
i really don’t get the logic here. Putin is obviously the most popular politician in Russia. Why him winning makes you suspicious?
>>
>>540235882
So is just an internal designation?
>>
>>540236480
for example if you look at the support of EU leaders, it is always like 12-15%. but no one questions how Merz won or Macron. Like are they really retarded there?

>There haven't been any elections in Russia for over 20 years.
Even during first Putin's elections there was FSB's false flag that killed almost 1000 Russian civilians to ensure Putin's success and then when counts started comming, they rigged that too, because otherwise there would be 2nd round.

There was probably never true election in Russia (some say that maybe during Yeltsin), but question is would these elections actually change something if they weren't rigged?

I can only talk about Poland and I'm actually proud of how democracy works in here due to our paranoid and politically divided society. With every election there's someone I know who joins local electoral commision to keep an eye on vote counting and everytime there's same story: everyone in commision is paranoid of other people making rigging shit practically impossible. Everytime I see this sense of disappointment that people in Poland really vote for these retards in power and that what votes that were personally counted in their local commisions are pretty much similiar to what is later said in media.

I think it works great, unironically.

Ok. But doesn’t it makes you suspicious that there are many people in power in Europe with like negligible support? Which elections were most probably rigged?
>>
>>540236583
Ohhhhhhhh these electronic vote counting machines say that it looks like you lose 49.3% to 49.2% again. Vote harder, goy

>But doesn’t it makes you suspicious that there are many people in power in Europe with like negligible support?
I might not be objective because I live in Poland and hating our government (and whoever is in power) is kind of our national duty. It wouldn't surprise me if it looks similiar in other European countries.

Globo homo democracy is fake and gay. My life is ruined and I think they would have killed me but it would have been too embarrasing for them.

My wife is an obvious glow person and comically obedient (I almost never change poopy diapers), considering we live like shit in the middle of nowhere. She used to shit test me all the time but that stopped a few years ago.

You guys have to realize Globo Homo is one humongous, giant surveillance state.
>>
These fucking glow people think I will forget what it was like to be a teenager and a young man and how hard it was to get pussy.

I called their bluff. Mother fuckers.

Fucking gay fucking pieces of shit want to turn the whole world into one giant turd so they can enjoy their gay sex.

It is ironic that I am actually the biggest Ukrainian AND Russian nationalist ever in history, despite being ZERO PERCENT of either, and despite commenting on this aweful blood bath.

If foreign intervention in your democracy is mean shitposts on 4chan, it means your democracy wasn't a real democracy in the first place, you were going after your political opposition
