Would communism work if there was an AI overlord keeping everything fair?
>>
>>540264018
Yes! We'll do this in the EU.
>>

This but unironically, I think ChatGPT is already smarter than 99% of government officials

If watching someone else get a nice house before you do is enough to lead you to violently overthrow your existing government, what about a robot would lead you to accept the same scenario?
The fundamental problem with communism comes from differential outcomes within humanity, itself, and expectations of any promised equality.
The AI robot tells you that you're doing your fair share in the mines or something. Fair enough, someone has to work the mines - but the people pretending to be miners in the movie get to do what you would consider play and get all the equal benefits.
Perhaps you could do duty tours, most menial work gets automated, etc - but there will always be a backlog of wants relative to the means.
And what happens if I decide I want to use my personal property to build a fully automated vineyard, or something. I played by all the rules and by the machine, have not done anything unfair to obtain this vineyard... But now it is something I can produce from and trade. Or... Can I trade it?
This AI would have to weigh the voluntary actions of people against wants and demands. And then what happens when people stop or die and can no longer provide those personal contributions?

I think it would be an interesting experiment of sorts, but ultimately doomed to the same patterns of failure. It might take longer for them to manifest, or perhaps be contained before spilling over into another set of consequences, but human nature is not easily changed. Cats raised around humans since birth can be incredibly human-like in behaviors that don't appear in wild cats, but there are cat behaviors that don't get wiped out by being raised around humans even without other cats around.
The people who think humans can have their nature altered to suit communism are horribly naive.

The eternal germanoid eurotard.
>>
>>540264018
no because people are not equal
>>
>>540264018
No then the people in charge could just shift blame from themselves
>>
>>540264018
No. Even the AI fanatics aren't dumb enough to make one that would apply to themselves.
>>
>>540264018
Communism would work if AI and robots did all the labor and humans just all got a stipend, yes with an AI overlord running it all
>>
>>540264201
A pretty low bar honestly.
>>
>>540268615
Or just grossly out of touch and surrounded intentionally by those who have selfish interests.

Now we are getting somewhere

I think government jobs should be fixed at $100k minimum AND should NOT come from taxes. We should print money to pay government employees. From teachers, to police, to librarians, to capital maintenance staff. "BUT THAT WOULD CAUSE INFLATION." We already have inflation, so who fucking cares. Money is fake anyway. This way, we could at least stimulate the economy. More people buying boats, staying in hotels, eating in restaurants, buying furniture, buying wine and liquor, etc. And people who work in government tend to be of high moral character (I know, I know. I mean little if any criminal record.) so it would encourage people to be good. A minimim $100k job? For being a good citizen? It would give people something tangible. Lots of people commit crimes because why be a goody-goody to make $12/hour at Chik-Fil-A and a meal costs fucking $14? Our system is retarded. Everything has a point where it makes sense, and a point where it's just retarded. Our economy - capitalism - has been retarded for a while.

>Tl-dr
Not in favor of full communism but partial. Private business wages and prices remain unregulated.
