>>540282019A couple of things. Firstly, diminishing returns. When Bitcoin and the wider crypto market cap was tiny it was easy for it to make insane returns during a bullrun. You could comfortable make 10, 50x, 100x even 1000x on tons of different shitcoins. Now the price of Bitcoin is in the tens of thousands it's just never gonna be able to give you those returns it previously could. Look at the last "bullrun" of 2024, by far the worst one in crypto history, ETH just barely made a new ATH, practically the same price as the 2020/2021 run. Secondly the technology as progressed as much as it can. There's nothing that hasnt been tried with it now, its no longer exciting and innovative. 99% of the market is purely memecoins with overtly no actual use case. It hasn't evolved at all since 2021 which was the last good bullrun.Add to those factors the prominence of bots, scamming Indians all over the market, low attention span paper handed zoomers entering the market, it's game over.
