In fact incompetent managers that can't get anyone to work for them, will often hire jeets because jeets are obedient yes-men. Also incompetent managers believe productivity is additive. I.e. with two half competent people you now have 1. Productivity in something like software development is multiplicative. Meaning it drastically reduces productivity for the rest. I.e. two halfwits make a quarterwit worth of productivity. I've seen it myself where the jeet assigned to a team by middle management to try to please upper management, those same jeets were told to stay away from the codebase and database and just told to answer emails and were left to watch YouTube for most of the day because assigning actual work to them meant the work would just have to be redone and damage done in the process (like data corruption would also have to be undone).3. Their nepotism ensures that they will keep getting hired. Once there's even a single jeet in management (even a different department) they won't stop making referrals and trying their utmost to jeetify a company. There is a certain threshold, once you have enough jeets on the lower levels (employees, lower management), that they will just stay in toxic companies (because it's better than a toxic company in India) and they get promoted based on time served. Whites leave, more jeets join. There's a point of no return.
