I’m gonna buy an 18 when it comes out, excited. Android is such utter fucking shit, we are well overdue for some real competition. When I bought my HTC G1 Dream back in the day Android had so much promise of being the free as in speech liberated phone OS based on Linux… but it turned out to be slow Java garbage that always has awful latency issues and lack of polish everywhere. Always playing catch up to Apple and delivering an ersatz, fake feeling experience as a result. So gross. A phone is supposed to Just Work, and so far as I can tell only iPhones accomplish that. And, now that Apple is making privacy into one of their huge selling points, I can’t even see how someone would be ideologically a Samsung fan…
