Ukraine has no central government anymore, if the war is frozen the country will probably fracture into warlordism (even more than right now) and some of these warlords won't respect the peace. A javelin costs around 250k when it was built at a time of abundant cheap energy and uninterrupted flow of rare earth metals and high tech components, in fact, most of the rare earth metals used in them came out of Russia and China to begin with. Now Russia is sanctioned, China has strict quotas for rare earth metals and there is a looming energy crisis. Most western nations today need to mine their rare earth minerals in Canada ship it to places like Indonesia so it can be refined and then ship it back home again to actually manufacture the weapons. I wouldn't be surprised if the cost went up 10x with the added problem that without economics of scale the sheer volume of rare earth and components that China and Russia used to put out simplt can't be met anywhere.India would be an obvious place but they have zero infrastructure that needs to be built from the ground up an the Chinese already control most if not all the mines and heavy infrastructure in Africa. That leaves only South America but like India we don't have infrastructure, trained engineers that China and Russia have by the bunches or cheap energy.

The country is kept together by force because Zelensky has the backing of Kolomoisky and others like him who in turn have the backing of western intelligence agencies. This created several factions inside the government that fight for power (this is the seed for warlordism) Zelensky had public disputes with Zaluzhny, Syrskyi , Budanov who he even tried to assassinate.. This is the reason why Zelensky's personal security isn't done by Ukrainians (last I checked it was the French intelligence agency that protected him).IF he signs a peace deal and is either killed or flees to Israel to live in his mansion the mercs and western operatives will leave Ukraine and it will create a nasty power vaccuum. Without a central authorithy and giantic caches of weapons, money and soldiers who have been brutalized by the war violence will be guaranteed either in the form of partisans, gangs or literal warlords.Remember what happened in the early years of the war?
