>Americans believe Japan is the most overworked place on earth
>In reality Japan is much closer to Europe than America when it comes to worker rights
>They can't even fire you when you are slacking
>We basically have 3 week long holidays per year. Obon holidays is summer, new year holiday in winter, and golden week holiday in spring.
>Americans barely have any days off per year and get fired here and there and basically live day to day survival lmao
Hilarious when Americans think Japan's suicide problem is caused by "ultra capitalism". When in reality Japan is quite socialist. It's just the traditional culture that KS toxic.

then whats up with these suicides?

Cultural expectations. You're supposed to go out drinking with your boss every day

No, the truth is Japan is over worked and many people develop mental health issues over it and many also sadly die due to work stress and suicide from over work.

Japanese like to say their 'average hours' are lower than other so we don't over work here.

But what they don't tell you about those average is that it is lowered due to the growing number of people working part time jobs as fulltime employment is hard to find in this economy. You also have people who are forced to work overtime for free which isn't counted as hours worked.

Japanese companies had to pay record payouts for their workers getting sick or killing themselves due to overwork.

Don't trust what Japanese nationalists and glazers say. The truth is bleak.

>Le Japanese don't actually share their statistics, its wrong!
Between this and the "they don't report their rapes" lie what causes people to do this? Why is it so hard for you to believe Japan genuinely does not have these things?

> We basically have 3 week long holidays per year.
Theoretically. Hardly anyone dares to take all three weeks off.
Your official work hours may be fewer but most employees in reality spend many after-work hours in their job, even unpaid. It sounds crazy but this is the kind of "loyalty" that is expected from them.

Every country puts out fake data the truth will never be known

>another stupid strawman
My dearest japnigger, where did I say the stats were fake? I'm merely pointing out how things work over there from working there. Overtime is expected and worked by many Japanese and its not compensated thus it never reflects on the payroll from which they get their 'average hours' which is also repressed due to the large base of temp workers.

The fact you're not even acknowledging is that Japan paid record amount in settlements due to over work. And you want me to believe they are a paradise?

Keep glazing all you want but the truth is there. I'm not the only ex Japanese worker who knows how it really is to be a corporate drone in Japan.
