Is there something that I'm not getting about the value proposition of accepting the draft versus defying the draft? Like if enforcers beat or even shot me for dodging the draft, wouldn't that be well within the range of actions I am trying to avoid by dodging the draft? I can see how a draft enforcement officer might miss this subtle detail, but it's entirely circular. If I am resolved to a situation where people I hate are going to beat or shoot me, I would want to choose the situation which is least advantageous for the people I hate the most. Again, I can see how this might go over the head of somebody operating from a state thug way of thought, but why would I not just defy all orders or even resist? Clearly, if I would be willing to risk getting shot or beaten for fighting some random Iranians, I would be willing to get shot or beaten for fighting people who are actually being evil, to me specifically, right there in the moment, like, in front of me and involving me. It just seems ridiculous to create that situation around me when I would otherwise go on working at my job i.e. contributing a comical level of productivity for the state relative to what I keep for myself. It's like taking an infinite money machine and flipping a switch that will make it physically break or even explode, and your motive for it is, what? You love jews? You hate sand people? Im probably a little autistic at any moment but when I'm thinking about the logic or game theory of a modern American draft I feel like 90% terminally autustic.
