The second purpose was to find people who witnessed our X-planes and silent or discredit them by any means. As time went on, a third purpose, identification of experimental planes from other world powers was adopted. Anything regarding actual flying saucers or cigar shaped craft was written off as fantastic tales told by crackpot conspiracy theorists(a term invented by CIA to discredit people who saw UFOs), that is until recently, what with all of the UV-VIS and radar sensing platforms we have in the air, not to mention that drones have been in long term use in the agricultural industry, and they’ve caught some odd video as well, which recently was corroborated by US military catching similar phenomena- in this case, a round object, perhaps slightly elongated, the size of a large bird, flying at about 500+ MPH at like 1500ft, straight line, no altitude loss, no shows up black when systems set to “white hot”. Nevermind all the weird activity around nuclear sites.
