The British Empire was the best thing to ever happen to India. Not because the British were benevolent civilization-bringers (the Anglos were always scheming island Jews whose only concern was profit) but because the reason they were able to be conquered in the first place was their incredible disunity, and a century of living under and then resisting the Raj gave birth to their national identity.
