Considering the history of Russia and Serbia, my reactions go us follow. Disbelief. Urge to think those will be programed to hit ukrainian targets/blow up at a press of a button. More suprise. Sudden urge to want to read about, who the fuck is not in power in Serbia and what has been going on in the country since 2004.

This are the thoughts and feelings this new& picture generate in my mind.

During the 1999 NATO bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (Serbia and Montenegro), Ukraine’s reaction was a diplomatic balancing act that strongly condemned the unauthorized military intervention while simultaneously trying to act as an impartial mediator.Torn between its long-term aspirations of integrating with Europe and its traditional, cultural, and political ties to the East, Ukraine’s stance was highly complex and divided across different levels.
1. Official Government Position: Condemnation and MediationOpposition to Unilateral Action: The Ukrainian government, led by President Leonid Kuchma, strongly condemned the NATO air strikes. Kiev argued that the military intervention was illegal under international law because it lacked a mandate from the United Nations Security Council.Peace Facilitation: Ukraine refused to cut off ties with the West (unlike Russia) and instead positioned itself as a neutral mediator. President Kuchma traveled to Belgrade to meet with Yugoslav President Slobodan Milošević in an attempt to negotiate a diplomatic resolution.Peacekeeping Framework: Ukraine proposed deploying UN-backed peacekeeping forces that would include troops from non-NATO nations (such as Ukraine and Russia) to win the trust of the Serbs. Ukraine later contributed troops to the UN/NATO-led KFOR peacekeeping mission in Kosovo to help stabilize the region
2. Parliamentary BacklashThe Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) held a much more fiercely anti-NATO stance than the executive branch:Strong Condemnation: The parliament repeatedly passed resolutions voting to strongly condemn the bombings.Geopolitical Fears: Lawmakers expressed deep concern that NATO's unilateral action established a dangerous precedent, fearing that international borders and sovereignty could be violated in the future without UN oversight.Internal Division: The majority of parliamentarians criticized the bombing

cont.
3. Public and Domestic ReactionsThe deployment of Western military power right before Ukraine's 1999 presidential election deeply polarized public sentiment:Street Protests: Significant protests broke out in Kiev and other major cities. An array of political groups—ranging from Orthodox Christian believers and left-wing Communists to right-wing paramilitaries like the Ukrainian National Assembly (UNA)—staged demonstrations outside the U.S. Embassy in Kiev, chanting anti-American and anti-NATO slogans.Volunteers: A number of Ukrainian volunteers traveled to Yugoslavia to support the Serbian forces.Weapon for the Left: The crisis heavily energized Ukraine's leftist and pro-Russian opposition parties, who used the "Western aggression" in Serbia as political ammunition to attack the government’s efforts to build closer relationships with Europe and the West.Long-Term LegacyUkraine’s solidarity during this crisis became a cornerstone of Serbo-Ukrainian relations. Driven by its strict adherence to international law and territorial integrity, Ukraine has consistently refused to recognize Kosovo’s 2008 declaration of independence, maintaining the official stance that Kosovo is legally part of Serbia.

If they remeber the bombings they should remember what Ukrain and Ukrainians did too.

Ukraine, when Serbian was being bombed, cut off ties to Western countries. Do you know who didn't cut ties to NATO or Western countries back then Z-fag? Yes, Russia. Russians are the strangest friends of Serbia. Huge words , goading to war, most bombastic claims. But when it come to time to do something, to actualy help, what happens? Russia leaves Serbia high and dry. The classic Russian examples of Фpoнтoвыe гepoи.

How would you like it if someone instead of coming and fighting with you shoulder to shoulder and defending you from an aggressor, just sent you a gun, a couple of bucks and put your flag on his user pic on social media where he kept inciting more death and destruction to you. Isn't it what your friends did when time came in 2022 to do something?

Russia sold arms to Croatia during our war, now Serbia sells arms to Ukraine with key golems posing in front of a WEF logo, wowzers almost like every war is a judeosatanic death ritual amirite?
>>
>>540355768
What is this Pigger cope?
Russians literally risked a war with NATO over Serbia in 1999 during the Prishtina Blitz where they blocked NATO forces.
And that during a time when the russian president was an US puppet.
Basically Russia joined WW1 for Serbshits and we're going against NATO in the Yugoslav wars .
Only NATO chickened out.
Meanwhile Ukraine is militantly pro-NATO and historically joined the Ottomans against Serbian Christians

USA. Who knew that would happen. Kazkhstan dose makes sense a lot of Russians moved there after 1926. they probably go to visit the grave of the great Lewi Icchak Schneerson. He died there somewhere around mid 1940s, if I remember correctly. Great one, but also tragic.

>>540356916
the last time Russians were actualy were fighting "side to side" with Serbians was in XVIIth century. because what you guys did in WWII shocked Titto so much he even asked his ambassador to ask Stalin what was going on.
>>
>>540358084
They "Litteraly" did not. They did talk a lot, but they didn't even break diplomatic talks with the West. Ukraine on the other hand did break ties with the West, and later send troops to be part of KFOR.
Ah and for WWI. Russia didn't "join for serbshits" They goaded them in to war with promises of help, supposed weakness of Germany etc. How WWI ended for Serbia we all know here.

I like Serbians so I hope they get some Gibs out of this. I don't know what the consequences/developments related are. Europe is too complicated.

>Russia sold arms to Croatia
You have been fooled or you are a lying faggot. That was the CIA via Victor Bout giving Croatia arms then framing Russia, according to the Ukrainian Parliment

>Ukrainian parliamentary inquiry concluded that between 1992 and 1998, Ukraine lost $32 billion in military assets, in part through theft, discount arms sales and lack of oversight. (In comparison, Ukraine's spending on legal arms for defense in 1999 is estimated to have been $500 million.) Many of the missing weapons found their way into the hands of willing buyers in hot spots around the globe, from Sierra Leone to Croatia. And as these arms proliferated, so did evidence of international criminal networks that sold arms from Ukraine in flagrant violation of international sanctions and embargoes.

>Theft and corruption in the military facilitated the flow of illegal weapons from Ukraine. It was also facilitated by forged or falsified end-user certificates, the export documents that are supposed to record the final recipient of an arms shipment. The ease with which arms shipments moved through official channels has led many observers to conclude that prominent Ukrainian officials were involved in the deals. In a 1999 report on Eastern European arms dealing, Human Rights Watch concluded that export-control authorities in the region were accepting arms brokers' documentation without question, either through "complicity or incompetence." Other observers say responsibility goes straight to the top of the Ukrainian government. Writing in The Christian Science Monitor, Ukrainian political scientist Taras Kuzio said, "High-level Ukrainian officials, if not directly dealing arms, are reportedly either smoothing the path for sales or at least looking the other way."
