I have noticed one thing: as time passes, society becomes more and more egalitarian. There was a time when almost the entire world was ruled by kings. Then voting rights emerged. At first, the franchise was restricted to a relatively small number of landowning men. Later, voting rights were extended to all men, making society more egalitarian. Over time, women, Black people, and other groups also gained the right to vote. Not so long ago, homosexuality was widely considered socially unacceptable, but that is no longer the case in many societies. In my view, society has been becoming increasingly egalitarian, and I do not think this long-term trend will reverse itself.
