Why aren't more people talking about this?
Its not like losing a single army, like the 6th at Stalingrad, we are talking an entire GROUP of ARMIES. DESTROYED! Wiped out! Jesus fucking Christ.
With this savage defeat there was no hope left for Germany. How could this have been avoided?

boomers today also take covid vaccines when a jew on the tv tells them to and these ancient boomers back then were no different.
all it takes is a little bit of propaganda, good logos, advertising and all these boomers get mobilized all on their own for whatever no matter how retarded it is.
and even if you were a smart boomer you still had to go along with it and had no choice and anyone that complained got beaten up or murdered or both.

Hitler was better than 90% of his generals when it came to deciding what positions to hold and what positions to retreat from. They falsely blamed Hitler for all their personal failures and that became the established historical fact until historians picked them apart and found they were spouting unrealistic bullshit that Hitler saw right through back in the day.

Its always cringe when I read American accounts of how tough it was being in action for months at a time. The Germans were in action for years. Even when they had had the shit kicked out of them multiple times they were still able to pull off heroic feats against all the odds. Fucking Walther Wenck and the 12th "army" ( in reality a rag tag collection of worn out and grossly under strength units), turning his men around in the face of combat against the advancing Americans and marching to counter attack the Soviets, thus saving the remains of the German 9th army. Jesus fucking Christ that was some John Wayne shit.

Hitler makes 100% of the decisions but its not a one man job

i dont like the military anymore since their white kids wont talk to me unless im gay with niggers because im "chinese"

It happened 82 years ago.
>>
>>540396641
i know mutt niggers think falaise was the turning point of the war but it was bagration that broke the back of the german military they destroyed army group centre pretty much completely trapped another army in courland making it useless throughout the rest of the war its quiet impressive what they did
>>
>>540397588
Yeah I get the same feeling, especially with GWOT stuff. reading Leon Degrelle's Campaign in Russia where he talks about the Cherkassy pocket battle where Walloons and 5th SS Wiking were defending a column from overwhelming masses of soviets is incredible. Its a shame these obscure stories of heroism aren't more popular

The Soviets got encircled and repelled at Warsaw, while the Warsaw uprising was happening. Everyone thought the war would end by Christmas 1944, but General Model and Dirlewanger canceled it.
>>
>>540399421
Yeah, that's another one ranking among the epics of human history
Guess its because those in charge do not want people to know the "bad guys" were insanely brave, extremely competent, and capable of heroic feats which would make Homer weep with pride.

Hitler shouldn't have been in charge of the army he always refused requests for tactical retreats which fucked us up long-term.
But it was over anyway when the USA entered the war they did the biggest part of the war and Stalin was right in saying without the USA they would have lost.
>>
>>540397588
all of them were trained by the youth movements since their early childhoods
instead of consuming slop on the tv, phone, tablet or pc they were outside, marching, travelling, camping, larping as soldiers fighting eachother for fun.
>>
>>540396641
The reason people don't talk about this is because 99% of their ww2 knowledge is basically stalingrad, d-day, nuclear bomb

There was no way to avoid this, i remember something about germany redeploying many forces from army group center to the south to protect the oil fields.

Hitler has been criticized alot for not allowing retreats during this offensive but he really had no choice. You either retreat without fuel and get overrun by soviet forces or you stand fast and fight and in the meanwhile destroy soviet forces.

It's actually hilarious watching the size numbers difference, from wikipedia it says the initial phase it was 500k germans vs 1.7m soviets with the soviets having advantage in every single sector, artillery, planes, tanks, logistics, trucks, fuel. It's ridicolous how long it took the soviets to reach berlin with such materiel and manpower difference

The only realistic way to avoid this is winning in the southern campaign in 1942, which unlike many people say germany was doomed from the start, it wasn't, just read Death of the Wehrmacht by Robert Citino.

TLDR: Hitler wasn't a retarded general and after the stalingrad campaign the war was lost.

Hitler did many bad things but retards love to say he should have trusted his generals but it was Hitler who wanted to take the Caucasus oil while many generals believed going against Saint Peter and Moscow would be more important like it was some hearts of iron game and taking the capital would mean capitulation of the Soviet which was obviously wrong.
He should have ignored the north and Moscow and went all in on the Caucasus instead.
Our biggest concern from the very beginning was oil.
>>
>>540401237
If i remember correctly in a lecture David Irving said that Hitler was hit by dysentery in August 1941 and wasn't able to attend military meetings and he originaly wanted to ignore moscow and go for the south and leningrad in 1941 but since he wasn't in good health his generals made the plans and thus operation typhoon was amde and failed.

While the Stalingrad campaign was going on the chief of army Franz Halder was sending reinforcments to army group center instead of south were reinforcements were desperately needed and make germany not be able to take stalingrad because of that.

And then when the war ended all the generals wrote books on how great they were and if only they captured moscow they would have won.

TLDR: Hitler got screwed by his generals

Tbh if you read Degrelle's memoirs things like the Cherkassy pocket show how BTFO German lines were. It was one big chaotic retreat in most places

>Hitler was better than 90% of his generals when it came to deciding what positions to hold and what positions to retreat from.
but the generals are the ones with the context of whats actually going on, Hitler just hears the compressed, filtered version of it and is looking at the map, not the actual terrain

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Bautzen_(1945)

The remnants of the 4th Panzer and 17th armies slammed into the flanks of Polish and Soviets forces in a desperate attempt to break through to Berlin. Despite failing in this attempt they inflicted heavy casualties on the Poles and Soviets, and retook the city of Bautzen which they held until the end of the war.
Even in the last weeks of the war the Germans were still able to launch successful counter attacks.
That is some fucking astonishing shit considering the overall state of the German forces at that very late stage. Having already suffered catastrophic losses, their logistics failing, absolutely zero air support, barely any tanks left, barely any fuel left. Can you think of any other military force which kept staging large scale offensive actions in the face of imminent defeat and under such unfavorable conditions?

There was disloyalty among the Germans and their empire fell apart in much the same way Alexander’s did.
>>540397119
Hitler was unironically le good.
He activated the Wotan effect in Germans which pushed their cohesion stat two to three times beyond its already very high normal level.
>>540402801
Hitler’s only mistake was not allowing Bayerlein and Rommel more autonomy.
Had they thrown the Angolems back into the sea, the Soviets would have signed a White peace.

why people dont want to know how the bolshevics, supported by the socalled good west destroyed germany before they were able to clean their meanest enemy? yeah idk, maybe they hate storys that are as frustrating as the rest of jewish glory brainwash history..

Stalin literally helped Hitler to develop tanks and submarines in secret bases in soviet union you triple nigger
