Alright, bros, this is pretty based, I was getting worried for a sec hahahttps://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/ram/scientist-says-ram-pricing-has-reverted-to-normalized-2007-levels-memory-prices-have-been-falling-exponentially-for-decades-but-the-ai-shortage-undid-20-years-of-progress-in-a-matter-of-months
>scientist says
>>540397400They will continue to normalize back in time all the way to the big bang.
Fuck the money, have you guys seen those Vance AI videos? So worth it.
>>540397400>scientists
>>540397400Yes, memory used to be much more expensive but GPUs were much cheaper. GPUs are hilariously shit in terms of how they developed desu.Again, one of the lasting consequences of a certain strategic plan.
>>540397400Leftoids be like>AI is horrible, its killing the environment and gaming!>Oh yeah and did you see the 562473rd AI kirk meme I posted on the 'cord?
>>540397400You know what else use to be normal?Killing rich folks China still does it..based china....new world hegemony china.Could of been us.
>>540397400I'm just not going to buy it.
>>540397400Supply and demand never existed when it came to RAM.
>>540401020As a leftist.Ai is gayIt's here to stayFarmers use 100 gallons of water for every gallon ai data centers use.Ai data centers are bad cause of their footprint, no regulation destruction of the natural environment, we paid for all of it, and we don't even get a single dollar of return. You asked for homes for 40 years and they said no. They didn't even need to ask for the data centers. I want you to do the math on the foot print of a data center and how many houses can fit in that space. The farmers are queer cause they went even growing food. They are growing alfalfa which is illegal in alot of countries because of its water use.Neat huh.Want to learn about how Republicans invented the great replacement through bracero and then 1952 hr 5678 Texas praviso?
>>540397400Ah so that is how they plan to solidify these prices as the New Normal.>Well you see goyium if you ignore everything that happened in the last 20 years you can clearly see you owe us a lot of money
>>540401020meanwhile irl i have meet both leftists that regularly use chatgpt aswell as making ai music & au "art" and i have meet right winger and nationalists that detest it, plenty on both sides.everything isn't a left-right issue
>>540401167What are you gonna do about it? Give a an illegal African another 1 trillion dollars in tax payer money?
>>540401214Basically I'm just not gonna pay these pricesI know.... UGH I know ..... I'm sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It's just that I'm not gonna pay it is allHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
>>540397574 trust the science, goy.
>>540401126that makes no sense. manufacturers of computer chips are the supply. consumers of computer chips are the demand.
>>540401312Entitled goyim don't want to pay what it's worth. I'm sitting on hundreds of TBs of DDR5 and DDR4 RAM, but you whiny entitled goyim won't pony up market prices for it. Ben Shapiro is right about you — you want some communist to come along and steal my RAM and give it to you goyim for free.
>>540401312Brother. Your 10 years behind me.
>>540397400Korea, it was nice knowing you
>>540401020Leftist are nowhere near the levels of usage as right wingers are. No, it isn't "both sides," it's just you that copes and loves AI like boomers.
>>540401178Its been politicized differently in America since liberals associate it with the 'tech bros' who backed Trump. They're complete hypocrites about it though since they obviously don't actually hate AI for legitimate reasons. The AI JD Vance memes and now Kirk memes were kosher but if you use AI for literally anything else you're raping and gaping the environment.
>>540402000Every poll shows millennials are the largest users of AI brotherman.
>>540397400I am actually starting to see small incremental price drops in RAM across the board. DDR4 is started to see minor drops too. It's like retailers aren't moving units and starting o discount prices on their own.
>>540397400must be one of those scientists that is fresh off the boat, giving us peasants scientific information between their busy schedule of raping and murder
>>540397400Wow, what a tard. AI build out cant last forever. Eventually AI demand for RAM has to hit a peak and the RAM prices will pump and dump like the Crypto mining rig demand for GPU didnt last forever. Otherwise RAM demand will hit equilibrium of projected demand from increased supply. The GPU manufacturers didnt ramp production since they knew GPU demand for crypto mining was a flash in a pan. Hence why RAM manufacture isnt increasing the size of their factories for demand that will crest and roll back.
>>540397574
>>540402111Huh? Millennials? What? We were talking about right v left AI usage? Why are you bringing up random things?
>>540397400In 2007 the sizes of ram a consumer would use were a lot smaller, buying 500mb at current prices isn't expensive if that's all you need. 32gb is though.
>>540404252in terms of cost per gb adjusted with inflation
