I really don't know much about what goes on in the heads of other Asian-Americans, since there really aren't many in the town I live in. The Buddhist church I go to has far more local views, the stories are mostly about Japan. Not far off places in the Middle East. The reverend didn't even mention things like Israel and Iran. The views don't see humanity as a whole- it is mostly just focused on the people within the temple. The views really aren't woke at all, the views are more about things like Dharma and enlightenment.
