That's no big mystery. But weeaboo is a twist on jigaboo. One of the older slurs for african gentlemen. I remember hearing it in kindergarten in the late 70s. I was just curious how many people these days even realized the connection. Ethnic slurs and their use in society is political and we should be using them in an erudite manner.
