Wokeness is just another axis on the political graph. We're familiar with the 2D one which usually puts authority/liberty on one axis and individual/collective on another. On this graph, Stalinism is high authority, high collectivism, landing it on the upper left corner. Wokeism is just another one of these axes: identitarianism/pragmatism. The woke right is the identitarian right. The woke left is the identitarian left. Its opposing pole is called pragmatism because, frankly, identitarianism is retarded and has nothing to do with governance. If that's too offensive, you could probably call it institution/culture. It's the degree to which you want other people sharing the same culture to be privileged in society. Its opposite, in this frame, is the degree to which you believe we should focus on changing our institutions themselves instead of simply the culture of their beneficiaries.

It doesn't make much sense to me that you can have a high degree of respect for individual rights while also exercising strict authoritarian control over individuals.
