When China makes a desktop sized chip making machine that anyone can use at home, it’s over for the elites. All there's left is silicon to be phased out by something simpler.

China already makes those anon
Rockchips makes ARM cpus in single board computers
No intel ME backdoors
No binary blobs required to boot
Panfrost/Lima open source GPU drivers
You can boot systems without a single glow in the dark backdoor
My router is NanoPi R6S with a AR9271 wifi
everything open source

Of you'd just kept your head down and did as you were told, you wouldn't be forced into spending trillions in R&D to redevelop technology we already have.

It would be more efficient to use crystals as a base that only needs swappable easily crafted chips.
The device that doesn't need replaced every year, maybe once every decade but they would be able to last forever

future it will probably be tied to the structure of your blood so it only works for you and controls everything
not made by sweatshop kids

I asked claude how to make a computer at home based on identical stackable 3d computing cubes.
I had asked for cellular automaton obeying rule 110, and it did that, but then suggested a way to make a much more efgicient turing machine with easy to make cubes, no electicity required. It said it could run zork with tens of thousands of these cubes.
I lost the text and it didn't fit in this text limit anyway.
The point is you could start on this project right now.
And a 3d computer scales better than a 2d one.

What are ching chong plans to make our wafers, photoresist and photomasks for litho, etching gas for etchers, cu-targets for depo, CMP slurry for CMP machine at an affordable price. High-end photoresists are worth more than gold per gram these years.
