Troons are somehow convinced that because we don't let five year olds cut their dicks off, that we are living in an oppressive police state.

Fascism, according to Giovanni Gentile's book on the subject, is a political system type designed according to the political philosophy of the fasces.

I have so far failed to identify the tenets of fascist political theory in Trump's political agenda. Moreover, I am pretty sure that the men who went to Europe in WWII to conquer the fascist powers of the axis would be considered far, far to the right of the people troons are calling 'fascists' in 2026. And I don't think that Trump being a big meanie implies that he is a fascist.

Trump clearly and openly wants to be a dictator. That's why he's called a fascist, because he is a wannabe right-wing authoritarian. Now, he does not have total control over the country, therefore we do not live in a fascist state.
Also, fascism has a broader meaning after WWII. You can accept that or you can keep being an autist, it's up to you.

How about the merging of state and corporations? https://reason.com/2026/08/06/the-gop-is-warning-about-socialism-while-quietly-embracing-it/

What evidence is there that Trump wants to be a dictator?
>>
>>540416298
The whiff of corporatism is not sufficient to call Trump a fascist. Government-industrial synergy can be found everywhere. And there are numerous other political ideologies that prescribe this synergy. Catholic Integralism, for example, which is clearly distinct from fascist political theory.

His utter contempt for the law, for the checks and balances of other government branches, etc. The fact that he's just declaring war on whoever he wants without going to Congress first.

well neoliberalism is basically the whole fusion of state and corporate power part of fascism, just without bothering with the pretense of class collaboration towards national revival because mass politics is dead and you don't need to bother even fronting anymore.

You don't. You laugh at them for being retarded and disregard them completely. Never engage with these morons.

Modern US socialists are currently in the midst of blowing their load too early, and no one could stop them or even want to. Just watch and laugh while the state operated grocery store stunt fails in the same way it always has, and then wait for them to complain that real communism has never been tried.

>Do we count as [arbitrary label]?
This is always a dumb debate.

Unfortunately, almost nobody will ever define fascism the same way as something else. Even if you define it as "whatever Gentile said", its still pretty ambiguous. One of his main points was holding the state as a metaphorical object of worship, and one could argue that's absolutely what MAGAs do.

Basically, calling someone fascist is not an argument. Go ahead an criticize their position on various issues, but don't just give them a label and have it stop there.

jewish fascism isnt based and redpilled like natsoc. Yes we do have fascism, its just gay, brown and jewish, the system of corporate and state power merging however is present.

I agree, but reducing that love to spamming flags and symbols everywhere is not the way to do it, and is unfortunately all that most "patriots" today seem capable of doing.

Your country is your land, history, traditions, and culture, and that is what you should take active effort to preserve. You shouldn't need stars and stripes to recognize something as American.

That's the opposite of what Fascism is. Fascism is when the government subjugates corporations. Communism is when corporations and government become one. Capitalism is when corporations subjugate the government.

This topic is debated extensively on /his/ board.

Fascism is basically the combination of 3 pillars:
1. Revolutionary nationalism
2. Authoritarianism
3. Economic collectivism

In order for a state to be considered fascist, all three of these criterias must be met. States like modern China is nationalistic and authoritarian but its not considered fascist. States like modern Turkey under Erdogan likewise.

People very often confuse the revolutionary nationalism part for just common nationalism. Just because you believe in nationalism, even extreme nationalism, does not make you a fascist. Nassers Egypt was extremely nationalistic and wanted to "rejuvinate" Egypt of its former glory, but he was not a fascist.
The fascist nationalism is about turning nationalism into a mass-movement. To get everyone engage, to turn the idea of the nation into a quasi religion, the state exceeds the material world and instead embodies your soul and identity to the point that you all wear the same uniforms and participate in mass rallies and join state organizations at an early age. The idea is the same as communism; in order for communism to work, everyone must be tuned into the idea that they represent something new, they are members of a new society and work for a common goal for a new golden age. The difference is that for fascism is alliegence to the state. For communism its the alliegence to the class.
This is in direct contrast to common authoritarian nationalism like China because those countries wants the opposite: They want the masses to remain politically retarded, to stay out of the way, to let politics only be a matter for the state, to hammer down anyone who sticks their nose up.
If anyone disputes this, ask them how come no historian regards Salazars Portugal as fascist when he was am authoritarian ultra nationalist.

People also get confused with the economic aspect of fascism.
The reason for this is because it's because it destroys the narrative that fascism is capitalism.
Nearly every fascist party across the globe had collectivism as its economic doctrine. This is because the prototype for fascism was called National-Syndicalism (go ahead, look it up). The Spanish Falangists even maintained syndicalism
Collectivism essentially means that the economy is organized by the state. It means everything and everyone serves the state and the state interest. The conomy is controlled. The market is controlled. Production and workers are controlled.
The reason it gets confused with capitalism is because fascism tolerated private businesses, but only if they served state interests.

The idea was to 'harmonize' society. The fascists were strongly anti-socialists because socialism advocated for class-struggle. The fascist did not believe in class-struggle and viewed it as divisive. The fascist wanted total unity under the state so corporatism was the most ideal economic model. The best way to understand fascism is to think of a political ideology that would bring TOTAL fanatic unity to the state and make the state as powerful as possible. This is why fascism is opposed any kind of individualism - Your identity is the state. It's why fascism loathed socialism - Your only objective is to serve the state, not class

Finally. fascism has nothing to do with race
No fascist manifesto ever speak about race
The Italian fascist party had one of the largest amount of jewish members
The Brazilian fascist Integralism openly embraced a mutli-ethnic fascist state

This myth comes solely from the fact that Germany created an offshoot movement centered on volkism where race and blood was critical, and that that other states gradually adopted their policies to appease Germany as these became junior partners (Mussolini included)

This is fascism
Go ahead and copy this text to AI and ask.

I want to add that the reason fascism generally speaking rejects the idea of race is the same reason it rejects the socialist class-struggle; the fascist wants to bring total unity under the state and it wants the people to cast away their identity and instead embrace the state as their identity. It's unity above all else to the state.

Of course arguments can be made that fascist corporatism can still be classified as capitalism by using the collective term of State-capitalism. The problem with this term however is that it completely waters down and inflates the meaning of capitalism, and that 'State-Capitalism' becomes a catch-all term that can essentially be applied to nearly all communist states as well since according to this defition, key aspects that defines capitalism can be completely neglected.
Personally I am very much opposed the argument that fascist corporatism is a form of capitalism. Private businesses were tolerated but were completely subservient to the state interests, with an economy and market organized by the state. Such regulations cannot coexist with capitalism and even if you would argue this, then the immediate confession would have to be that socialism has never been achieved either, because in no state did the workers ever control the means of production. It either served state interests or private interests.
>>
>>540426413
The logical end goal of fascism is actually globalism.
For everything to be inside the state, nothing outside the state and nothing against the state, along with its explicit non focus on race the state must become a world government for this to actually be fully realised. You're right that Fascism is state worship which is why Natsoc isnt actually fascist because fascism does not permit anything to be against the state, whereas Natsoc states that if the state is against the people its the peoples duty to destroy it.
>>
>>540427836
The main reason why fascism falls into the "Far-right" political folder is thus almost entirely because of its nationalism, which is problematic.
Because we no longer categorize an ideology based on whether it is cosmopolitan or nationalistic. This classifications came from the French Revolution. In the modern ideological scale, what is left depends on how much state intervention there should be economically, politically and socially in order to create a more egalitarian system. Whereas the right is defined by less state intervention in order to promote flexibility to create opportunity.
It's also problematic because most (if not all) communist regimes turned extremely nationalistic, but we dont define them as far-right.
It is also the fact that nationalism has historically be aligned with left movements, de-colonization and many European seperatist movements being an example.
Many fascists began their political career as socialists (Mussolini being a prime example). This is not a coincidence.

Okay. I've posted enough in a dead thread.

>>540427987
>The logical end goal of fascism is actually globalism.
That's a bit hyperbolic.
The main thing you need to look at are the essential cores for fascism.
The reason so many people cannot define fascism, was because there were so many fascist movements and they all had different characteristics.
Mussolini war pro war. Mosley was anti-war
NSDAP was centered on race. Integralism was multi-ethnical
Falangists were hardline catholics. Iron Guard were Orthodox.

Their ideology is just all over the place.

So my point in my first verst first post was that you have to look at what did they all have IN COMMON.
And despite their differences, what they all had in common was the 3 categories I listed in my first post: Revolutionary nationalism, authoritarian statism, corporatist collectivism.
So if they all had these characteristics, then that is what fascism is. Everything else is simply personal actions. You dont put racism as a core pillar for democracy just because USA had segretation laws. You dont define the ideology of communism based on Pol Pots urban depopulation program. You have to look at the core tenants of the ideology of communism to define it, not selective cases.
In order to categorize an ideology, you have to look at what it says in the ideological theory.
