>>540419813It isn't a chore. I live in the south and it did suck to have to cut down some near house trees but I replaced them with smaller trees like a few dogwood and cherry blossoms. I rigged up a lawn sprinkler on a pole that I set up to wash off pollen or dust if there hasn't been a good rain. If birds shit all over them then you can make or buy a pole that has a garden hose and sponge or brush on it to get that off too. The ladder and tool I made cost me in total $500 for a used 14 ft platform ladder, and a wooden horsehair broom where I replaced the wood handle with a piece of bamboo that I ran a thin water hose through.Currently I am on track to break even on what I spent on the solar panels next year. I am considering getting some batteries because it has taken me 15 years to get to this point, mainly due to my wife refusing to wait to do laundry until midday and that my electric providor only gives me $0.02 shekels for every kWh I put back onto the grid and charges me about $0.14 per kWh used.
