The 5L v8 they used some sort of sleeve material in the pistons that cause them to consume a shit ton of oil. The auto trannys Ford uses appear to have some issues. Really Dodge probably makes the best engine/tranny right now. GMs are complete garbage with the 6.2s and who knows how the 5.3s will hold up.
