My mom didnt know any better an got parent plus loans for my brother to get two bachelor's degrees then his masters. She started out with 100k and now owes over 270k because the lenders keep giving her forbearance. I went into the trades and make more than my brother and have zero debt. I feel bad for all these people that were sold a lie.

What separates usury from interest is arbitrary

This is why I would have told my kids not to waste their time with higher education but came up with a better idea to not have children to begin with and on top of that refuse to pay my own debts anymore.

Yes, they give out loans to make money. Why on Earth do you think they'd loan someone a quarter of a million dollars and be like "just pay me back exactly $250,000, over 30 years, and we're good"?
