The filibuster is too useful for both parties to be ended. Democrats are at a structural disadvantage in the Senate and will almost always be the minority party in it unless the Republikikes royally fuck up. Such as, just as a hypothetical example: Have a retarded orange nigger for president who starts a failed war for Israel that kills the petrodollar and causes an economic collapse. IF something like that happens the Dems might get a slight majority for like a cycle or two until reflectively conservative Americans start electing Republikikes again. This means it's in the Democrats' interests to keep the filibuster around because they're the ones who are going to be using it most of the time.For the Republikikes who have a near permanent majority in the Senate it may seem like they should be the ones to end the filibuster, but that would be bad for them too because they've already minmaxed all their skill points into a captured supreme court and unitary executive theory, so an obstructionist, dysfunctional Congress that can't get anything passed is actually useful for their purposes because they'd rather just ram their agenda though the other two branches that are even less subject to public referendum. Plus, cockblocking Democrats in the Senate is their primary reelection strategy when they do lose it.
