Americans have little problem with the various regimes, they just enjoy complaining.
The one thing that hurts them is feeling as if they are not 'A Superpower' and so it's important to manage perception of the Iran conflict. But it seems like a good enough job is being done on that to prevent too much sadness for the moment.
