Why all authoritarian countries are holding elections (regardless were they presidential/legislative) on taxpayers' money if the result was already decided? I get it with the take of showing the rest of the world on how "democratic" you are for investors' gibs. Why not just postpone them for indefinite period? Most of the countries' governments have historically been monarchies/dictatorships without any elections at all.
