The Jamaicans/Caribbeans have been established in Britain since the Windrush era. They had their jerk chicken shops, barbers, churches, Rasta cafes, etc, yet these are closing down and being replaced by halal stores and mosques in places like London, Bristol and Birmingham.Jamaicans enjoyed going to the pub and smoking their weed in the same pubs the English were in.Jamaicans are generally Westernized and they speak English and have English culture more broadly. Theoretically we should be seeing the Jamaicans saying >"Britain is changing, it was better before all these immigrants came in">"Where have all the pubs gone? replaced by fucking mosques, me can't even have me Guinness no more, bumboclaaart"But they aren't saying that. In fact many of them are converting to Islam themselves in places like Lewisham, Peckham and Camberwell. The Caribbean migrants are not complaining about a changing Britain or about Islam taking over.Why is this?
