>>540475956I live in a small city in the southeast where things are generally far less expensive and easier in general, yet downtown is just drowning in homeless people sleeping on the streets and harassing people. It’s not bad here compared to other places but theirs entire swaths of town that just aren’t really worth going to because of it. From what I’ve seen and heard of other cities it’s far worse. I went to a concert in Atlanta a few years ago and we left the venue to walk to a Waffle House and had to walk through about 5 solid blocks of homeless camps that smelled like piss and had some horror movie shit going on in them. Homelessness is a huge problem here and if I had to pick a reason it’s probably drugs
