Because society is complicated, and sometimes you got to give up a little to get a litle. I support speed cameras because people drive like shit. I'm fully aware that speed cameras regulate my speed too. Also libertarians don't care about social issues. Yes, I want to completely ban abortion and trans surgery.

So if you're the dictator, then congratulations I guess. But this sort of power is transitory at best. No person or group which has ever held the power of the state has ever done so indefinitely. Individuals and entire dynasties have come and gone a number of times that are beyond count.
