Trump relied on a Kurdish Invasion, but they never had any intention of invading, not a single Iraqi Kurd even mobilized. How does the president of the united states launch a war thinking an entire invasion will happen, giving the Kurds billions in weapons for it, launching airstrikes in northwestern Iran in support of it, BUT THEY NEVER INTENDED TO INVADE. We've had thousands of troops and glowies in Kurdistan for decades. How could Trump be so uninformed? It's a strategic failure of epic proportions. This entire war was stillborn.
Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst reported Sunday that President Donald Trump told him during a phone interview the United States sent weapons to the Kurds that were meant to make their way into the hands of Iranian protesters but never did."President Trump told me the United States sent guns to the Iranian protesters," Yingst related to the Fox & Friends Weekend hosts. "He tells me: 'We sent them a lot of guns. We sent them through the Kurds,' and the president says the Kurds kept them."https://www.newsweek.com/trump-says-kurds-kept-guns-iran-protesters-11785509

>>540492821Remember that Trump also decided after a single phone call with Erdogan, to withdraw US military support for the Kurds in Syria and they were rolled up in a few months, only a few months before the Iran war. Which they cited in their decision not to fight against Iran. He didn't even understand the consequences of his own actions.
