They still want to observe more, especially as we venture deeper into uncharted waters and people encounter different things and they reflect how they feel by what they watch to soothe and cope and for how long. I dont know much about the LSD mind torture experiment stuff, they could have gathered all the information they needed along with the research from other countries or they could be still doing it today in greater secrecy.
