Also this is another funny thing to me. Has to do with American AI companies getting pissed at China or whatever and essentially data soveriegnty. The US wants to keep all their own citizens data private to them. All countries do. But to me as a consumer. This is actually against my own interests. Say I'm a US citizen and I have a gmail. Google is gunna rape me for everything that gets sent to my email in a way and they are going to profile me. Why? Because they want to target ads on me and build a profile on me. If I'm a US citizen in this circumstance these companies are also going to attempt to enact surveillence pricing on my in order to get me to pay the most amount of dollars for something I might want to purchase.If instead I were to choose to give all my data and info to another country that I don't live in. Sure they can take my data and start to speculate. But that means the companies I go to make purchases in will have less information to profile and upsell things to me. The vast majority of my purchases aren't going to come from say Europe. Maybe a few online purchases. But the less information the local companies that I do make purchases from day-to-day will be hindered on how to actually upsell me on things.
