Why can't Europeans into German?
We're the biggest economy on this continent, yet not even our neighbors bother speaking it or interacting with our culture
We're in this laughable situation where corpo meetings are held in English because there are immigrants in the room
>>
>>540551239
When i went to berlin recently; not even the waitresses spoke german, it really is a dead language since the average german is 48 and 31% are immigrants
>>
>>540551239
>germany
>>95%
not for long
>>
>>540551239

because germans are second class citizens.

>>

>>
>>540551717
We're ashamed of your poor attempts of speaking a coherent language, thus we take pity on you. Don't get too full of yourself, frog eater.
>>
>>540551921
yeah but by doing so you make sure no one will learn german and it'll die
This is where you say "good" to feel superior while shooting yourself in the foot.

I mean come on. Of course its bad in berlin. Try on the country side

because you fucking retards would proudly suck nigger or sand nigger cocks than hiring white europeans
>>
>>540552030
I admit I have to give you a point there.
>>
>>540552053
>lets both talk to each other on equal footing
yeah but I want to have fun speaking german. Don't you remember how much better it was to travel in the 90s, having memorized the basic grammar and learning new things everywhere ? That's what I want to see when I engage in your language. I'm not here to be served as a tourist I came to engage with the people
>>
>>540551239

There is two reasons. jewish education saying Germans were the bad guys and pupils chose between Spanish and German. Most chose Spanish because it's easier.

>>
>>540551717
You French add an insufferable accent to every single foreign language you manage to learn.
It's a testament to the bottomless tolerance of Whites that anyone lets you speak any foreign language in public at all.
>>
>>540551239
Learning other languages has only solidified my belief in English supremacy. Ya we have a lot of spelling/pronunciation inconsistencies because of the variety of languages our words are sourced from, but otherwise it mogs the fuck out of every other language.
>Gendered nouns (not stopping at 2 either but having 3+)
Utterly pointless
>Adjective endings
"but it provides useful context" if you need the ending of an adjective to indicate what noun it is describing, that is a problem with your sentence structure, not the language.
>Perfekt tense
Why do you insist on using two verbs for this? You even have Prateritum but only use it for writing except for haben/sein/few others. It actually limits your sentence construction. I asked my German teacher wtf you do if you have 3+ verbs in a sentence, and she had no answer. I guess you just can't make sentences like that.
There's other dumb shit like akkusativ and dativ as well. The direct and indirect object should be obvious already. What purpose does it serve to treat them so differently?
>>
>>540553334
I think french accent especially on girls its fucking adorable. But also french dudes, like when they make jokes with their goofy accent its 10 times funnier.

last time i visited germany the only one i spoke in german was a turk at a food stand and that was more than a decade ago
the last german i spoke to in german was some guy i happend onto in WoW on a private server a long time ago
i wasnt fluent, but i could easily hold a convo in german, now i remember almost nothing, because i didnt use it more than once a month for almost 20 years
its just not wort it to relearn it, especially from business perspective, eglish is much more universal and useful
>>
>>540553725
You gonna have to learn it sooner or later.
Just keep importing more shitskins in and more of you cucks gonna leave for Lechistan.
>>
>>540553484
Our verbs are very descriptive in a standalone sense compared to other languages. For instance, a lot of languages just have one verb for watch/look. But in English you can "look at a TV' which would imply you are inspecting it, or staring mindlessly at it. But the normal activity with a TV is you "watch" TV. You "look" at people, but to say you "watch" them is creepy, or perhaps you're a private investigator. Our verbs just have an intensity you don't find in other languages, and for as much shit as our adverbs get, they also modify the intensity of what our verbs are doing.

Also there are a bunch of untaught English grammar rules from old English that we learn naturally that easily give away a foreigner. Like the order of describing things;

1. the loud green tall big truck
(wrong)
2. the big tall green loud truck
(wrong)
3. the big tall loud green truck [I'm not going to list out all the possible combinations, but only one is correct lol]
(correct)

>especially on girls
it can be, if she's attractive.
When men do it however, it's rather insufferable. It's like they think the French flair improves it somehow when they say everything with pursed lips. I find it extremely grate, worse than the stereotypically bad German attempts at speaking English (like our Arnold). They just sound incompetent, the French sound like they're willfully adding this shit.

quite literally, yes
thats what happens when you dont have any contact with a foreign language for a long time
i might know some chunks and piece, somewhat recognize few more, but its not enough to communicate
i know, hard to imagine for someone that never learnt more than one language
>>
>>540553956
A lot of people used to choose German as a foreign language for the "matura" exam. At the time it was a better choice than English for several reasons. I bet the popularity of German is close to zero now, when English media are everywhere and English itself feels more like an utility language.
>>
>>540551239
What does the German language offer?
It is learned only by migrants heading to German-speaking countries to live on welfare
>>
>>540551239
Germany's cultural influence is pretty poor if you consider their wealth and political relevance. You're not gonna get many people speaking your language when in most cases they only learn it for work
>>
>>540554273
*snort* you better start learning Spanish instead, with all those Filipinos and Columbians no one will bother learning awkward language like German; there's already English
>>
>>540553956

ouch. But cant argue with that, lost relevancy.

>>
why would anyone learn german when you can just learn Dutch (the language of the gods)
>>
>>540555194
Well, the majority of Germans wanted this. An excessive urge for self-destruction and for humiliating one's own people before others
>>
>>540551239
Because it's impossibly hard to learn. I studied it in school and various courses outside of school, and I still can't understand a single sentence.
Meanwhile I'm fluent in English, which I learned on my own.

It is good enough to be a tourist I suppose and I forgot most vocaublary so I just say a few phrases I remembered and the phrase for red districts is basically one of the few I remember. I dont even know why they taught me this in school lol.

You must be a nigger. The pronunciation is easy, way easier than English, the grammar is strict and rather easy.
The main issue with German, besides the limited popularity, no value and problems with media, is how unwieldy it is.
Compound nouns are a nightmare, there's an enormous overhead to communicate something in comparison to English. The vocabulary is a major problem. Everything is saturated with English and it comes natural, in case of German you are sentenced to a dictionary book.

>rather easy
It all just looks like arbitrary little fragments which make absolutely zero sense. The long compound words are the least of all problems here.
Also, the noun cases are illogical, they make no sense at all.
I studied German actively in my formative years throughout my schooling, and never got more than a 2 (second worst grade here, just above failing).
And then as an adult in my 20s I took up Hungarian for the lulz and became pretty proficient in it to the point where I can talk to Hungarians comfortably. So much about German being "easy". It's the hardest language in Europe to learn by far.
