Here's my theory. Republicans became sole owners of America have Civil War. The imported a ton of immigrants after that, and decided to use the Democrat party to devise an inner party and an outer party to play controlled opposition. The got all the new immigrants to vote Democrat and use their stuffed off Republican party for the dumb proles they conquered. The wanted the immigrants as the inner party because they had global ambitions, and they're still running this scheme now. I think the Radical Republicans from the 1860s are basically our oligarchy and have been for 160 years.
